About the Hub
The RAI4BE Digital Hub is an Open Research and Knowledge Hub hosted by the Centre for the Study of the Production of the Built Environment (ProBE) at the University of Westminster. It exists because the built environment is adopting artificial intelligence faster than it is building the safeguards, capabilities, and governance to do so responsibly.
It develops open frameworks and evidence, catalogues the risks AI poses across the sector, defines the competences professionals need, supports sound governance, and provides training for responsible practice. Its outputs are intended to be practical, citable, and useful to industry, professional bodies, educators, and policymakers alike.
The Hub's work is organised around five pillars: Risk Management, Competence, Governance, Training, and Research. The Hub is hosted and supported by the University of Westminster through ProBE but is open to all. It collaborates with researchers, industry partners, professional bodies, and academic institutions.
