RAi4BE, Responsible AI for the Built Environment

Tools

Tools and frameworks

The Hub develops open tools and frameworks for responsible AI in the built environment.

BEAR

The Built Environment AI Risk repository catalogues entries documenting how AI systems can fail, mislead, or cause harm across the sector. It is a living, openly accessible resource, continually updated as new risks emerge.

BRIEF

The Built Environment Responsible AI Competence Framework (BRIEF) defines knowledge, skills, and behaviour statements across seven dimensions, setting out what built environment professionals need to demonstrate for responsible AI adoption. BRIEF emerged from the Hub's AI4QS initiative and now anchors the Competence pillar. The platform is now open for pilot use.
